Haryana Updates Faculty Recruitment Reservation Rules
The Haryana Government has made new rules to make sure that hiring teachers in private colleges is fair and follows the reservation policies.
They want to stop confusion and make sure everyone understands the rules.
Now, all colleges will use one big list for reservations instead of separate lists for each subject.
They also have to check this list before hiring new teachers.
If there are jobs that were not filled before, those have to be filled first.
The government wants to make sure everything is done correctly and fairly.
Haryana Government issued new SOPs on January 22 to clarify faculty recruitment reservation rules.
All government-aided private colleges must treat the entire college as one unit for reservation purposes.
Colleges must prepare a consolidated roster register from August 31, 2023, combining all subject-wise rosters.
Verification of the reservation roster is mandatory before advertising or filling any new teaching posts.
Backlog vacancies must be filled first, with the oldest backlog category getting priority.
