Navi Mumbai Hospital Implants Leadless Pacemaker in High-Risk Patient

A 64-year-old man had a serious heart problem called Complete Heart Block after a heart attack and a procedure to fix blocked arteries.

Doctors needed to put in a pacemaker, but regular pacemakers can cause bleeding if he kept taking his blood-thinning medicine.

So, they used a special kind of pacemaker that doesn't need wires or a big cut.

They put two tiny pacemakers inside his heart through a small hole in his leg.

This way, he could keep taking his medicine, avoid bleeding, and get better quickly without a big scar.
