GHMC Issues Notices to Annapurna, Ramanaidu Studios for Tax Evasion
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has sent notices to Annapurna Studios and Ramanaidu Studios for not paying the full amount of tax they should have.
They did this by saying they had smaller business areas than they actually do.
The GHMC wants them to explain why they didn't pay the right amount.
GHMC alleges Annapurna Studios underreported business area by 95%
Annapurna Studios paid ₹49,000 instead of ₹11,52,000
Ramanaidu Studios underreported and paid ₹7,600 instead of ₹2,73,000
Both studios served notices by GHMC for explanations
