Telangana Plans Economic Growth
The Telangana government has decided to create special parks for small and medium-sized businesses (MSMEs) just for women in every area where people vote for their representatives.
This is part of a big plan to help women start their own businesses and become more involved in the economy.
The Chief Minister, A Revanth Reddy, said that the government will divide the state into three regions: CURE (Core Urban Region Economy), PURE (Peri Urban Region Economy), and RARE (Rural Agriculture Region Economy).
The aim is to make Telangana a much stronger economy by the year 2047.
The minister also mentioned that more women in Telangana are working now compared to a few years ago.
The government is also working with an organization called WE Hub to help women start and grow their businesses.
The Chief Minister encouraged women to start their own businesses instead of just working for others, so they can help make the state's economy grow even more.
The government plans to build new infrastructure like Metro Rail, flyovers, and new airports to support this growth.
Telangana government plans to set up exclusive MSME parks for women in every Assembly constituency.
Aim is to promote women's entrepreneurship and economic empowerment.
Women are positioned as key stakeholders in Telangana's vision to become a USD 3 trillion economy by 2047.
Telangana's Female Labour Force Participation Rate is 52.7%, higher than the national average of 45.2%.
WE Hub is credited with nurturing women entrepreneurs, and WE Hub 2.0 will focus on building globally competitive women-led enterprises.
