Experts Say NSE IPO Price Band Cannot Exceed ₹1,750

Experts Say NSE IPO Price Band Cannot Exceed ₹1,750

The National Stock Exchange of India may soon sell shares to the public.

Experts are trying to predict the price range for those shares.

They say the upper price should be below ₹1,750 because similar unlisted shares were valued at about ₹2,050 and the grey market premium was about ₹300.

Some media reports had speculated about a higher range of ₹1,800 to ₹2,100.

The IPO would sell shares owned by existing investors rather than issue new shares for NSE.

This means NSE itself would not directly receive the money from the sale.

One expert said investors may consider applying if the price stays below ₹1,750.

The IPO is expected to open and list in September 2026, although the exact dates depend on the final schedule.
