Bengal Governor Appoints New VCs for 2 Universities

The Governor of West Bengal, Mr. CV Ananda Bose, has appointed new vice-chancellors for two universities.

Prof. Nimai Chandra Saha will be the new vice-chancellor of Harichand Guruchand University, and Prof. Ayan Bhattacharya will lead Sanskrit College and University.

This happened because the Governor and the state government had a disagreement for a long time about who should be appointed to these important jobs.

Recently, they agreed on the names for eight universities, including these two.

This agreement is expected to help the universities work better.

The Governor made these appointments because he is also the chancellor of the state universities.

The Supreme Court was involved because of the disagreement, but now that both sides have agreed, things should improve.
