UP to Conduct School-Based Vaccination Drives in August
The government of Uttar Pradesh is planning two big vaccination campaigns in schools to keep children healthy.
The first campaign, from August 3 to 7, will give vaccines to children aged 5-6, 10, and 16 to protect them from diseases like tetanus, diphtheria, and whooping cough.
The second campaign, from August 18 to 28, will give vaccines to children aged 5-10 to protect them from measles and rubella.
These campaigns will happen in all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh.
Schools will work with health workers to make sure every child gets the vaccines they need.
There will also be meetings and activities to tell parents and the community about the importance of these vaccines.
