SWR Launches Digital Navigation System at Stations for Passengers
Imagine trying to find your way around a big train station!
The South Western Railway has launched a new system called ‘Margadarshak’ to help.
It’s like Google Maps for the station.
There is a big touchscreen and you can use your phone to find your way.
It will help you find things like platforms, and restrooms.
The system speaks Kannada, English and Hindi and is available all day.
They plan to put it in other stations too, making it easier for everyone, especially seniors!
SWR launched ‘Margadarshak’, a digital navigation system, at SSS Hubballi Railway Station.
The system includes a multilingual touchscreen kiosk and smartphone access via QR codes.
It provides interactive maps for locating platforms, amenities, and planning journeys.
Margadarshak offers real-time positioning and voice assistance for easier navigation.
