Bengaluru Shuts Race Course Road for 60-Day Maintenance Work
Part of Race Course Road in Bengaluru is closed to traffic while workers repair and improve it.
The work is expected to take 60 days.
Crews are putting down a stronger road surface and building or upgrading drains, sewage lines, and other utilities.
Vehicles cannot travel between Shivananda Junction and Maurya Junction.
Another stretch from Trilight Junction toward Maurya Junction should also be avoided.
Traffic police have listed four other routes for drivers and buses to use.
The suggested routes pass through nearby junctions and roads.
These changes are meant to help traffic move around the work area.
