Kerala CM Defends LDF on Sabarimala Issue
The Chief Minister of Kerala, Pinarayi Vijayan, said that the Sabarimala gold loss issue did not have a big impact on the LDF in the recent local body elections.
He said that the people understood the issue well and were not influenced by the propaganda from the Congress and the BJP.
The Chief Minister also said that the Special Investigation Team (SIT) did a good job in investigating the case.
He mentioned that the BJP lost power in Pandalam municipality, which should have been affected if the Sabarimala issue had worked against the LDF.
The LDF also made gains in Kodungallur municipality.
