Gurugram University Excluded from CBSE Recruitment Portal
Gurugram University, which was created in 2017, is not on the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) list of recognized universities.
This means that graduates from this university cannot apply for 100 jobs that the CBSE has advertised.
The jobs require a degree from a recognized university.
The university's vice-chancellor says they will fix the problem.
Some students who tried to apply using another university's name had their applications rejected.
A group called the Delhi Panchayat Sangh is asking the CBSE and the Ministry of Education to add Gurugram University to the list and reopen the application window for affected students.
Gurugram University is not listed as a recognized university on the CBSE recruitment portal, affecting 100 job openings.
The CBSE invited applications for various posts, with the deadline set for December 22.
Gurugram University's vice-chancellor assured action to resolve the issue once details are received.
At least 90 applicants are impacted, with some facing application rejections and blocked IDs.
The Delhi Panchayat Sangh has demanded immediate rectification, citing a violation of the right to equal opportunity.
