Jain Diwakar College Declares 2026-27 Zero Year

Jain Diwakar College in Indore has said it will not admit new first-year students in the 2026-27 session.

This is being called a “zero year.”

Some current law and science students received transfer certificates, or TCs.

The students are worried that they may not be able to continue their studies there.

More than two dozen law students and over a dozen science students have asked DAVV for help.

DAVV is checking whether other colleges have seats available.

The college says it did not close the courses.

It says some students asked for TCs because too few students were enrolled.

The college plans to move to a new building and restart courses in the next academic session.
