Jan Suraaj Party Spokesperson Addresses Poll Debacle and
A political party called Jan Suraaj, started by Prashant Kishor, did not win any seats in the recent Bihar election, which surprised everyone.
The party's spokesperson, Pavan Verma, said that one of their main talking points, about 'vote stealing,' wasn't a problem anymore because the Supreme Court said Aadhaar cards can be used to identify voters.
He also mentioned that many people seemed to like their ideas during their campaign walks, and even the Prime Minister used similar slogans to theirs.
However, this support didn't turn into actual votes.
Verma admitted it's hard for new parties to win against bigger, established ones, and that Prashant Kishor will decide their next steps.
Jan Suraaj Party spokesperson Pavan Verma stated that the 'Vote Chori' issue is no longer relevant after the Supreme Court recognized Aadhaar as a valid voter ID.
Verma expressed shock at the party's failure to win any seats in the Bihar Assembly elections, despite strong public engagement during their padyatra.
He claimed that Jan Suraaj's campaign slogans, such as voting for children's future, were later echoed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Prashant Kishor, the party's founder, will determine the future strategy for Jan Suraaj.
The NDA secured a significant victory in the Bihar elections with 202 seats, while Jan Suraaj failed to win any.
