Tamil Nadu Police Sign Pact for Internal Reforms Project
The Tamil Nadu police are working to make things better.
They've teamed up with a group called the Indian Police Foundation to make changes.
The goal is to help the police be friendlier and more helpful to the public.
They want to make it easier to solve problems and make sure everyone feels safe, especially women.
The project will start in 30 police stations, and if it works well, the changes will be used in all police stations across Tamil Nadu.
They will also talk to the public to find out what's important.
The project is planned for one year and will be evaluated by a third party.
Tamil Nadu Police signed a pact with the Indian Police Foundation for internal reforms.
The project aims to improve police-public interaction and grievance redressal.
It will focus on women's security, victim assistance, and police working conditions.
The project will be implemented in 30 police stations across two districts.
