Nasa Hataoka leads after 1st round of LPGA Tournament of Champions
Nasa Hataoka from Japan is leading after the first round of the LPGA Tournament of Champions.
She scored 6-under 66 and is one shot ahead of Jeeno Thitikul, Chanettee Wannasaen, Lottie Woad, and Linn Grant.
Hataoka won the Japan Classic in November, her first LPGA victory in nearly three years.
Thitikul had a great season last year, winning the Tour Championship and having the lowest scoring average in LPGA history.
Other notable players like Nelly Korda, Lydia Ko, and the defending champion A Lim Kim are also playing in the tournament.
