Karishma Kemmu Celebrates Kashmiri Tithi Birthday With Family Rituals

Karishma Kemmu celebrated a special Kashmiri birthday called Koshur Vohurvod.

This birthday is decided using a tithi, which is a lunar day in the Hindu calendar.

Her family marked the occasion with prayers and traditional rituals.

They prepared Taher, a yellow rice dish.

Some of the rice was offered to deities before being eaten as prasad.

A family member applied a tilak and tied a sacred red thread on Karishma’s wrist.

Jyoti Kemmu gave her the first bite with curd.

People online liked seeing Karishma share her Kashmiri traditions with others.
