Retired Cricket Legends to Compete in Hong Kong T20 Cup
Some of the world's best cricket players have retired, which means they no longer play big games.
A company called Atherra Sports wants to bring them back for one special week.
They are organising a new tournament called the World T20 Continent Cup.
The tournament will happen in Hong Kong in the middle of December 2026.
Four teams will play: the Asia Warriors, Europe Champions, Africa Lions, and North America Eagles.
They will play nine matches, and the winning team will become the first champion.
The Asia Warriors team already has many famous players from Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Oman, and India.
Fans will get the chance to see their old heroes play again.
It will be a fun celebration of cricket, not just a serious competition.
India-based Atherra Sports will organise the inaugural World T20 Continent Cup in Hong Kong in mid-December 2026.
The week-long tournament will feature four continental teams: Asia Warriors, Europe Champions, Africa Lions, and North America Eagles.
The event comprises nine high-octane matches, culminating in a grand final to crown the first champion.
The Asia Warriors' confirmed star-studded lineup includes Shikhar Dhawan, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Mahmudullah Riyadh, and Rubel Hossain.
