Delhi Exhibition Showcases Ten Neurodiverse Artists' Abstract Works
An art group called Art Sanctuary held an exhibition in New Delhi.
It showed paintings by 10 neurodiverse artists from India.
Neurodiverse means people whose minds may work differently from most people’s minds.
Each artist displayed three artworks.
Most of the artists had not received formal art training.
Many of the paintings were abstract, so they did not show familiar things like trees or people.
The organizers want more people to understand and appreciate this kind of art.
Visitors said the exhibition was beautiful, inspiring, and inclusive.
Art Sanctuary presented works by 10 neurodiverse artists from across India at the Alliance Française de Delhi gallery.
Each artist displayed three artworks, with most participants having no formal art training.
The exhibition featured abstract works that differ from conventional images of nature, people, or objects.
Founder Nidhi Gupta said the initiative aims to promote neurodivergent artists and bring their work into more homes.
Curator Shuchi Mathur, filmmaker Yasmeen Kidwai, and entrepreneur Atul Khanna praised the exhibition’s distinctive and inclusive character.
