MP High Court Seeks CBI Reply on Giribala Singh Bail
The Madhya Pradesh High Court heard Giribala Singh’s request for bail.
Singh is in jail in connection with the death of her daughter-in-law, Twisha Sharma.
Her lawyers said she is elderly and has health problems.
They also said there was no evidence that she encouraged Twisha to die by suicide.
The CBI asked for one week to answer the bail request.
It also wants to show the court its case diary.
The court postponed the bail decision until after it receives that response.
Singh will remain in custody until the next hearing.
Twisha died at her in-laws’ home in Bhopal on May 12.
