Arvind Fashions Acquires Flipkart's Stake in Youth Brand

Arvind Fashions, a big clothing company, is buying a 31.25% share in another company called Arvind Youth Brands from Flipkart.

This deal is worth ₹135 crore.

Arvind Youth Brands owns a popular clothing brand called Flying Machine, which sells jeans and casual wear all over India.

Flipkart, which is owned by Walmart, had earlier invested ₹260 crore in Arvind Youth Brands.

After this deal, Arvind Fashions will have full control over the business.

This helps Arvind make decisions faster and Flipkart can focus more on its main shopping platforms.

Flying Machine has become a well-accepted brand on digital channels, and this partnership with Flipkart helped it become one of the top casual wear brands on digital platforms, catering to the fashion-conscious youth of India.
