Teachers Carry Growing Workloads While Continuing To Support Students

Teachers Carry Growing Workloads While Continuing To Support Students

Teachers have many jobs besides teaching lessons.

They complete paperwork, meet targets, handle administrative duties and speak with parents.

These tasks can make their work very difficult.

Even so, some teachers continue because they love teaching.

They pay attention to how each child is behaving and feeling.

They may notice when a noisy child is struggling or when a quiet child needs help.

They encourage students who lack confidence and listen when someone needs support.

This important care is not always shown in grades or reports.
