Jindal Steel targets 21 mt by 2032 with new CEO

Jindal Steel is a big company in India that makes steel, a strong metal used to build things.

The company is led by a very rich businessman named Naveen Jindal.

Recently, the company got a new boss named V.R. Sharma.

He said the company wants to make more steel, aiming for about 21 million tonnes every year by 2032.

But the company says it will grow slowly and carefully instead of trying to make the most steel in the world.

Instead, it wants to make special kinds of steel used for things like nuclear power plants and ships.

The new boss also wants to give more chances to long-serving employees to become leaders.

The company uses special factories called electric arc furnaces that make 'greener' steel with much less pollution.

Because of this, the company is not worried about a new European tax on carbon pollution.

The new special steel factory will be built in Angul, in the Indian state of Odisha.
