Google Agrees £260 Million UK Play Store Settlement

Google runs an app store called Google Play Store.

Some app developers in the United Kingdom said Google’s rules and fees were unfair.

They brought a lawsuit against the company.

Google has agreed to pay £260 million to settle the case.

This is about Rs 33,743 crore.

Google has not yet completed the settlement process.

A tribunal in London must approve the agreement first.

If it is approved, the case will be settled under the proposed agreement.
