Bajaj Auto Profit Beats Estimates
Bajaj Auto, a company that makes two- and three-wheelers, recently announced its financial results for the first three months of the year.
The company made more money than expected, with a 42% increase in profit compared to the same time last year.
However, the total revenue and operating profit were a bit lower than what analysts predicted.
The company sold more vehicles both in India and abroad, and they are planning to increase their production capacity by 25% to meet the growing demand.
They are also focusing on electric vehicles, which now make up about 30% of their revenue.
Despite some challenges like higher costs and logistics issues, Bajaj Auto is optimistic about its future growth.
Bajaj Auto's standalone net profit rose 42% year-on-year to Rs 2,983 crore, beating Bloomberg estimates.
Revenue from operations increased 36% to Rs 16,462 crore, missing Bloomberg’s estimate of Rs 16,962 crore.
Ebitda grew 42% to Rs 2,813 crore but fell short of the Bloomberg estimate of Rs 3,402 crore.
Total sales volumes rose 29% year-on-year to 1.44 million units, with two-wheeler volumes increasing 29% to 1.22 million units.
The company is expanding its manufacturing capacity by 25% to cater to growing demand for ICE motorcycles, premium motorcycles, and electric vehicles.
