Viral Video Misleads About Sangeetha Watching Vijay's Film
A video went viral on social media claiming that Sangeetha Sornalingam, the estranged wife of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay, watched his film Jana Nayagan in theatres.
However, the video is old and has been shared out of context to create this impression.
The film's release was delayed due to issues with the Central Board of Film Certification.
Earlier this year, reports claimed that Sangeetha filed for divorce, alleging infidelity and an affair involving an unnamed actress, later linked to Trisha Krishnan.
Vijay and Trisha have been seen together publicly, but neither has confirmed the rumours.
Vijay and Sangeetha have two children, Jason Sanjay and Divya Shasha.
