Former Thailand MP Shoots Local Official Dead, Confesses on YouTube
In Thailand, a place called Nonthaburi is in the news because a former member of parliament named Chalong shot a local leader named Thongchai.
Thongchai was the head of the local government in Nonthaburi.
Sadly, Thongchai was hurt very badly and died at the hospital.
Thongchai's driver was also shot, but he had surgery and is doing better.

Chalong phoned YouTube political commentator Anchalee Paireerak during her livestream and confessed to the shooting on air before being arrested.
Thongchai, a former police officer, died in hospital after suffering a gunshot wound to the neck; his driver, Mr Yod, was shot in the arm and hand and underwent surgery at Phra Nang Klao Hospital.
Chalong said he was angry because Thongchai refused to grant a favour and pushed him, and claimed he fired only after the victim's driver pointed a gun at him; he later apologised to the family.
