Jammu rains: 23 dead, 7 missing; LG assures relief

Heavy rains in Jammu have caused at least 23 deaths and left seven people missing in the districts of Poonch, Rajouri, and Doda.

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has stated that rescue and relief operations are being conducted at the highest level, involving the administration, SDRF, NDRF, and police.

The government is providing immediate assistance to affected families and has assured that all possible help from the central government will be provided.

Most bodies have been recovered, and efforts are ongoing to find those still missing.

Additionally, a rehabilitation plan has been created for individuals affected by drug addiction as part of the 100-day 'Nasha Mukt' J-K campaign.
