TET Scam: Fadnavis and Andhare Clash Over 2021 Paper Leak
There is a big argument between two political leaders in Maharashtra, India.
One leader, Devendra Fadnavis, says that a huge exam cheating scandal happened when Uddhav Thackeray was the chief minister.
He says that not only was the exam paper leaked, but also some people who failed were made to pass.
Another leader, Sushma Andhare, says that Uddhav Thackeray actually exposed the scandal and let the police investigate freely.
She also mentioned that around 3,500 people who cheated were blacklisted.
The scandal involves a company that was given a contract during Fadnavis's earlier term, and several people, including a minister's daughter, were involved.
The police arrested many people, and some were even put in jail.
But after the BJP-Shiv Sena came to power, the investigating officer was transferred as punishment.
