California Woman Gives Birth After Rare Ectopic Pregnancy

A woman named Suze Lopez from California had a very rare type of pregnancy called an ectopic pregnancy.

Normally, a baby grows inside the uterus, but in Suze's case, the baby was growing outside the uterus, in her abdomen, hidden behind a large cyst.

Doctors didn't know she was pregnant until just a few days before she gave birth.

She had been monitoring the cyst for months and didn't feel any typical pregnancy symptoms.

When she went to the hospital with stomach pain and high blood pressure, doctors found the baby growing in her abdomen.

They performed surgery to deliver the baby and remove the cyst.

Both Suze and her baby, Ryu, are now healthy and doing well.

This type of pregnancy is extremely rare, with doctors saying it's far, far less than one in a million.
