Odisha Launches 'Ama Sathi' WhatsApp Chatbot for Services

The Odisha government has launched 'Ama Sathi', a new WhatsApp chatbot.

It's like a digital assistant for citizens to access over 100 government services.

This chatbot is available in Odia and English.

Users can access the chatbot via WhatsApp number 9437292000.

Citizens can use it to get documents like birth certificates, apply for licenses, and access incentive schemes.

The chatbot also helps with public grievances, and provides information on housing, urban development, education and agriculture.

This is the second state in India to launch this type of service.
