Nagaland Launches Teeka Talk to Boost HPV Vaccination Awareness

Nagaland has started a programme called Teeka Talk.

It will teach girls, parents and communities about the HPV vaccine.

HPV infections can cause cervical cancer and other cancers.

The programme will share information through schools, communities and the internet.

It will also use a WhatsApp chatbot to answer questions.

The government offers the vaccine free to girls aged 14 at government health facilities.

Health, education and child development departments will work together.

The goal is to help families make informed decisions about vaccination.
