Android Users Can Now Edit Texts Sent to iPhones
Imagine you send a text from your Android phone to someone with an iPhone.
Now, you can fix any typos or mistakes after you send it!
Google Messages has added a new feature that lets you edit those messages, just like you can with texts sent between Android phones or iPhones.
This works in group chats, too.
However, you only have about 15 minutes to make those changes.
This new feature uses a system called Rich Communication Services (RCS) to make texting better between Android and iPhones.
Google Messages now allows Android users to edit messages sent to iPhones.
This feature works in both individual and group chats.
The 15-minute editing window still applies for both Android and iOS users.
Previously, edits were limited to messages within the same operating system.
The update leverages Rich Communication Services (RCS) for cross-platform features.
