Gurugram Police arrest three women in Rs 47 lakh embezzlement

Gurugram Police arrest three women in Rs 47 lakh embezzlement

This story is about a man who worked at a company in India that helps other businesses hire workers.

The police say he made up fake workers and put their names into the company's computer records.

The company thought it was paying salaries to real workers, but the money actually went into bank accounts of his own family members.

In total, about 47 lakh rupees — a very large amount of money — was taken.

The fake worker records were created between 2022 and 2026.

Police in Gurugram investigated after the company filed a complaint.

First, the man and two other people were arrested in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, in June.

Later, police also arrested the wives of the three men, so now six people are accused in the case.

The police are trying to make sure the people who took the money are held responsible.
