Election Commission of India Rolls Out Electoral Reforms
The Election Commission of India (ECI) is making a lot of changes to make voting easier and more fair.
They're reducing the number of voters at each polling station and making voter information easier to read.
A new online platform, ECINET, will combine over 40 apps and websites into one place.
The ECI is also talking to political parties and training election officials.
These changes aim to improve elections by making them more accessible and transparent.
The Election Commission launched 21 initiatives for electoral reform.
The maximum voters per polling station has been reduced to 1,200.
ECINET, a single-window platform, is being introduced to streamline election-related services.
The ECI is improving voter accessibility, including mobile deposit facilities and redesigned voter slips.
