15% of Ayurveda Colleges Face Recognition Crisis in Madhya Pradesh

In Madhya Pradesh, about 10-15% of Ayurveda colleges are at risk of losing recognition for the 2026-27 academic session.

This is because they don't have enough teachers and don't meet the new rules set by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM).

The NCISM is checking all colleges and will fine those that have teachers only on paper and not in reality.

Colleges that don't follow the rules could lose their recognition and have fewer seats available for students.
