Bombay HC Orders NTA to Produce OMR Sheets in NEET UG 2026 Dispute
The Bombay High Court has asked the National Testing Agency (NTA) to show the original OMR answer sheets of three students who took the NEET UG 2026 exam.
These students say their scores were much lower than what they expected based on their OMR sheets.
One student, Hricha Deshpande, said the OMR sheet on the NTA portal showed a high score, but the one she got later showed fewer answers, lowering her score.
The NTA says the real OMR sheets are on record and were given to the students.
The court will hear the case again on July 30, 2026.
