Gujarat Gives 76 Gir Cows to Women on Modi Birthday
A group in Gujarat gave 76 Gir cows to 76 women who needed support.
The women included tribal women, widows, and women with limited money.
The gift was made during an event connected with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday.
The organizers hope the cows will help the women earn money by selling milk.
Veterinarians checked and vaccinated the cows before they were given away.
The cows are being delivered directly to the women’s homes.
The organizers also gave feed, minerals, and health records.
They promised to keep helping the families care for the animals.
The Sitavan Gir Gaushala provided 76 native Gir cows free of cost to 76 underprivileged women in Gujarat.
Beneficiaries included tribal women, widows, and women from economically weaker backgrounds.
The initiative aims to combine animal welfare with women’s financial independence through dairy farming.
Each cow received health checks, vaccinations, certifications, feed, mineral mixtures, and health documentation.
The gaushala pledged continuing veterinary, livestock-management, nutrition, and milk-production support for all 76 families.
