Louvre Reopens Fully After Staff Strike Suspension
The Louvre museum in Paris is now fully open again after its workers decided to stop their strike for now.
The workers were on strike because they wanted better pay, more staff, and better working conditions.
They also said the museum building needs repairs.
The workers will meet again in January to decide if they will go back on strike.
The museum's management and unions said that the workers voted to pause the strike to let visitors come back in.
However, the unions said that not enough progress has been made to solve the workers' problems.
The Louvre in Paris fully reopened on Friday after staff suspended their strike.
Staff voted unanimously to pause the strike to allow the museum to welcome visitors.
The strike was over concerns about pay, staffing levels, working conditions, and building deterioration.
Unions criticized the lack of engagement from Louvre President Laurence des Cars during the strike.
Workers will hold another general assembly on January 5 to decide whether to resume strike action.
