MEA Says LAC Peace Reflects State of India-China Ties

MEA Says LAC Peace Reflects State of India-China Ties

India and China are two big neighbouring countries that share a very long border.

Part of that border is called the Line of Actual Control, or LAC.

The two countries do not always agree about exactly where the border line should be.

Their officials met to talk about keeping the border calm and peaceful.

India said that what happens at the border will show how India and China are getting along overall.

India told China that peace in these border areas is very, very important.

India also said that a region called Arunachal Pradesh belongs to India, and China should not say otherwise.

Both sides talked openly and agreed to keep using their usual meeting channels, including talks between military commanders.

This helps both countries avoid mistakes and misunderstandings along the border.
