Silver Futures Dip Amid Weak Demand and Global Trends
Silver is a precious metal that people buy and sell in markets.
In a recent trading session, the price of silver for September delivery dropped by 271 rupees, ending at 2.17 lakh rupees per kilogram.
The drop was small, only 0.12 percent, but it happened because fewer people in India wanted to buy silver.
Also, the global market for silver was not very strong, which made the price fall.
A total of 12,973 lots of silver were traded during the session, showing that the market was still active even though the price went down.
Silver futures fell Rs 271 to Rs 2.17 lakh per kilogram.
September delivery contracts declined 0.12%.
12,973 lots were traded in the session.
Weak domestic demand contributed to the price drop.
Global market trends also pressured silver prices.
