GBS Outbreak in MP Claims Two Lives

There is a sickness called Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS) happening in a town called Manasa in Madhya Pradesh, India.

This sickness makes people's bodies feel numb and weak, and sometimes they have trouble breathing.

So far, 14 people have gotten sick, and two of them have died.

The government is trying to help by setting up a special place in the hospital just for these patients, and they are also checking people's health and teaching them how to stay safe.

They are not sure yet how the sickness started, but they are testing things like water and food to find out.

The government is paying for all the treatment.
