Andhra Pradesh promises support for youth stranded in Myanmar

Andhra Pradesh promises support for youth stranded in Myanmar

Some young people in India were tricked by bad people on the internet.

They were promised good jobs in Bangkok, but instead they ended up stuck in Myanmar.

The state government of Andhra Pradesh wants to help them come home safely.

A leader named Nara Lokesh is in charge of education and IT in that state.

He told government workers to help the trapped youth get back to their native places.

He also warned young people to be careful with online job offers.

He said they should check that jobs and recruiters are real before travelling to another country.

Some people online also claimed the government spent over one crore rupees on a magazine article about Lokesh.

The government says that is not true and explained the money was actually for a TV promotion about the state.

The government says it is working to bring the stranded youth home safely.
