Kerala government to probe Messi visit deal, says CM Satheesan

Leaders in Kerala made an agreement with the people who handle famous football player Lionel Messi.

The agreement was about a possible visit by Messi to the state in 2025.

Now the government is checking the agreement very carefully.

They think some tax rules may have been broken and that the deal was not made in a fair way.

A leader named Satheesan said the government will take action if any money was lost.

The government also decided to give two lakh rupees to families affected by a big landslide in Wayanad.

It also approved bonuses for workers of state companies before the Onam festival.

Ships will soon be able to move cargo through the big new Vizhinjam port starting August 18.

Satheesan also said he never asked the social media company Meta to remove posts that were against him.

The state and the national government disagree about a new law for mines and minerals, and Kerala says it will fight it.
