International Solar Alliance to Host Africa Meeting in Ghana
The International Solar Alliance (ISA), a group working to promote solar energy, is holding a meeting in Ghana.
They want to bring together countries and organizations to invest more in solar power across Africa.
Africa has a lot of potential for solar energy, but they are not using it as much as they could be.
The meeting will focus on ways to make it easier to fund and build solar projects, train people to work in the solar industry, and use solar energy for things like farming.
The goal is to bring in a lot of money for solar projects by the end of the decade.
The International Solar Alliance (ISA) will host the Seventh Regional Committee Meeting (RCM) in Accra, Ghana.
The meeting will take place from September 2 to 4.
The event aims to unlock solar investments and boost energy access in Africa.
The ISA will focus on its four pillars: finance, capacity, technology and policy, and partnerships.
Key initiatives include the Africa Solar Facility and expansion of STAR-Centres.
