Lucknow Hosts Meeting on New Heart Artery Opening Techniques
Imagine your heart's blood vessels get blocked.
Sometimes, doctors have to do a big surgery called bypass to fix it.
But now, there's a new way called CTO intervention that uses special tools to open up these blockages.
Doctors from different countries are meeting in Lucknow to learn these new techniques.
They hope to avoid the need for bypass surgery by using angioplasty, a procedure to restore blood flow.
This means fewer big surgeries and helps more people with heart problems.
The Indo-Japanese CTO Club will hold its annual meeting in Lucknow from May 30 to June 1.
The conference will focus on advanced methods to open completely blocked coronary arteries.
Over 600 doctors have registered for the conference.
The conference aims to reduce the need for bypass surgery.
Doctors from India, Japan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Canada will participate.
