Centre Launches 'Sabki Yojana, Sabka Vikas' Campaign
The government is starting a new program called 'Sabki Yojana, Sabka Vikas' on October 2.
This is to help local village councils (Gram Panchayats) plan how they will spend money in the future.
They will use special meetings to talk about what the local people want and need.
These plans are based on past successes.
This will ensure everyone has a say in how their communities develop.
The program aims to make sure plans are well-thought-out, inclusive and align with national goals.
The goal is to make local government more open, fair, and accountable by reviewing past projects and addressing problems.
Digital tools and platforms will be used in the planning process.
The 'Sabki Yojana, Sabka Vikas' campaign will launch nationwide on October 2.
The campaign focuses on preparing Panchayat Development Plans (PDPs) for 2026-27.
Special Gram Sabha meetings will be held to gather input and align with national goals.
Over 18.13 lakh PDPs have been uploaded since 2019-20, reflecting participatory planning.
