Pudu Robotics Launches PUDU D5 Series Robots
Pudu Robotics, a company that makes service robots, has introduced a new type of robot called the PUDU D5 Series.
These robots are designed to work in tough outdoor and industrial places where other robots can't go.
They can handle uneven ground, slopes, and even stairs.
The robots come in two types: one with legs for climbing and one with wheels for smoother surfaces.
They have special cameras and sensors to see around them and avoid obstacles.
They can carry heavy things and work in very cold or hot weather.
The robots can also follow people and understand hand gestures and voice commands.
Pudu Robotics wants to use these robots to help with tasks like inspection, patrol, and emergency response in places like airports and industrial campuses.
Pudu Robotics launched the PUDU D5 Series, autonomous quadruped robots for complex outdoor and industrial environments.
The series includes two configurations: the legged PUDU D5 and the wheeled PUDU D5-W.
Key features include advanced autonomy, rugged mobility, precise perception, and high environmental resilience.
The robots are equipped with automotive-grade computing, 360° perception, and the ability to navigate up to one million square meters.
They can carry a 30kg payload, operate in temperatures from -20°C to 55°C, and have IP67 ingress protection.
