Jharkhand students on hunger strike demand Hemant Soren's resignation

Some students in the Indian state of Jharkhand are very upset.

They think something went wrong with important exams for government jobs.

They believe the exams were not fair.

So the students are protesting.

Some of them are even refusing to eat food, which is called a hunger strike.

They want the Chief Minister, Hemant Soren, to quit his job.

They say he has not listened to them since returning from Bengaluru.

The students are staying at a big stadium in Ranchi, the capital city.

They promise to surround the state assembly building on August 10 if they do not get what they want.

The government has sent people to talk to the students, but the students say they will keep protesting until their demands are met.
