Stalin Inaugurates New Homes for Displaced Irular Families
Imagine a group of families who had to move because a road was getting wider.
The government helped them by building new houses!
The Chief Minister, Mr. Stalin, is opening these houses for the Irular families.
These families had been living in temporary homes, and now they have safe places to live.
The new homes have everything they need, like electricity and water.
There's also a place for everyone to gather, a school for the little kids, and a temple.
It's like a fresh start for these families, giving them a secure place to call home after they had to move from their old home.
Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated new houses for 41 Irular families near Arakkonam.
The houses were built to provide permanent settlement for the Irular community.
The State Highways Department funded the project as compensation for land acquired for road widening.
Each house includes basic facilities like power, water, and sanitation, costing ₹10.70 lakh each.
Additional amenities include a community hall, anganwadi centre, temple, and safe drinking water.
