Paris's Arpege Restaurant Goes Plant-Based
Imagine a fancy restaurant with three Michelin stars, called Arpege, that's changing its menu.
The chef, Alain Passard, who is known for his amazing cooking, is making the restaurant's food plant-based.
That means no meat, fish, or dairy!
But, they will still use honey from their own bees.
The chef said that he wants to cook with more emotion and to be closer to painting and sewing.
The prices for the meals are from 260 to 420 euros.
This is similar to other restaurants, like Eleven Madison Park, in New York.
Arpege, a three-Michelin-star restaurant in Paris, is transitioning to a plant-based menu.
Chef Alain Passard, known for his mastery of roasting, is leading the change.
The updated menu excludes meat, fish, and dairy, but includes honey from the restaurant's beehives.
Passard's decision follows his earlier move to eliminate red meat in the early 2000s.
The restaurant's new menu features dishes like tomato mosaic and flamed aubergine.
